All products are sent by Royal Mail recorded delivery, unless otherwise marked. Any products sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery will be marked as such and their price will include the postage charge.
How long does it take to get there?
Royal Mail aim to deliver mail the next working day, although they cannot guarantee delivery times. Royal Mail Special Delivery guarantee delivery by 12 noon the next working day, Monday to Friday, to most addresses in the UK. However Royal Mail Special Delivery can only deliver within 3 working days to some remote areas including Scottish islands such as Orkney, Skye and Mull.
Can I track the progress of my item once it’s been posted?
Yes. Items can be tracked from despatch to destination with Track and Trace, or by calling the enquiry line on 0845 700 1200.
Does Royal Mail obtain a signature on delivery?
Yes. We ask for a signature when we deliver each item, and make a record of the recipient's name and time of delivery.
What happens if there is no-one available to sign for the item?
Royal Mail leave a 'While You Were Out' card. They then hold the item at their local delivery office for 3 weeks. You will be able to collect the item from your local delivery office, but it will be returned to us if you don't collect it within 3 weeks. |
